Student Services & Resources

Support You're Already Paying For.....

Research suggests that first-generation college students are less likely to ask for help and utilize campus resources, which contributes to lower graduation rates. â€‹Knowing and using the resources available to you is a key factor in college success!

Student Legal Services

Life can bring unexpected situations, and sometimes those moments have legal consequences. Student Legal Services is a free resource that offers guidance, advice, and in some cases representation to help you understand your options and make informed decisions.

Psychological Services

Mental health support typically includes individual therapy, group therapy, medication management, and case management. Case managers can also help connect you with community resources if you need support beyond what is offered on campus.

Health Services

Most colleges offer free health services for students. These services are confidential, which means your health information will not be shared with your family without your permission. The health center is a safe place to get care, ask questions, and learn how to stay healthy.

Cultural Events

Cultural events and organizations can help you feel more at home on campus. These spaces give you a chance to connect with people who share similar backgrounds. They can also help you stay rooted in your culture and build your community in college.

College Life Office

College is a great place to keep doing the things you enjoyed before you arrived. Many campuses offer clubs, intramural sports, and hobby groups where you can stay involved in activities you already love without the pressure of competition. Joining these groups can also be a fun way to meet new people.

Career Center

Career interests can change as you learn more about yourself. The Career Center can help you explore your interests, understand your strengths, and find career paths that fit your goals and passions.

Colleges offer many services to support you, but those resources only help if you feel comfortable using them. Learning how to ask for help is the next step.
